Fed: Govt says further action against 2UE likely
CANBERRA, Feb 7 AAP - Radio station 2UE is facing further sanctions with Communications
Minister Richard Alston describing licence conditions imposed today over the cash for
comment affair as a minimum.
Senator Alston also flagged new legislation to force broadcasters to disclose sponsors.
The Australian Broadcasting Authority today ordered 2UE to disclose all commercial
agreements entered into by presenters or producers.
The move came after the ABA found agreements entered into by announcers John Laws and
Alan Jones directly affected news …
